I hear that guns are more effective, but also a lot more messier…
I like to video tape the tire changing, so I can later see the DVD and bring back all those emotions.
oh i see why a gun would be messier. if the bullet went all the way through the tire and cut something with a coolant liquid in it, it would get all over the place…
I think he still has the hunting lessons on the brain. I wonder if they are going to make tire-jerky out of its skin, and maybe hang the hubcap over the mantle to impress his other tire-changing friends.
I don’t think that this comic was really about changing tires… Is nobody getting that? This comic clearly gives hints about what it’s really about. I just can’t understand if I’m the only one who sees that. This comic is obviously about a father & son bonding.
I remember every tire I’ve changed. Every one of them have been haunting my dreams for years.
why six inches past your target?
“why six inches past your target?”
You can always spot a tire changing virgin when you see one.
nope, just a tire cutting virgin 🙂
Follow through, duh. You don’t want to tire getting back up and trying to change you.
Seems like Wes isn’t the only one tweaking….
“why six inches past your target?”
Maxedout – The idea is provide enough thrust to reach the further target, rather than hitting the closer target and stopping.

You are breaking the first 2 rules of the hidden comic club.
In the white area on the upper right hand side of the comic, just outside the beige box. Click the question mark that appears when you mouse over it.
Its to the upper right of the pictures with words and stuff

I bet that Karate Frank can change a tire with his bare hands.
We need more Karate Frank.
I like to videotape the tire changing, it bring me joy to see all those emotions come back when watching the recorded footage.
That’s just good advice for anything you need to leak air from: car tires, bike tires, motorcycle tires, nuns, or lawnmower tires!!
By the way guys, I love the little “A comic here, despite…” thingies. Love the extra-joke.
You should see him make scrambled eggs. >shudder<
“But dad, our car is on the other side of the parking lot.”
I hope the mail lady is all right. She didnt make it to work today. Police reported multiple stab wounds.. in her left tyre.
Next lesson: How to dress a bullet wound.
Poor Gertrude, only one strip in and already having her tires changed….
Having her tires changed is the least you can expect after all that mileage she’s been through!

Six inches from the tire so you puncture the actual tire and not just the wall o_O
