That was totally Indian in the Cupboard, only it wasn’t just at night. I thought he could make them come to life by like, turning the key in the cupboard. That’s how he killed that one old indian dude…
The Indian in the Cupboard is about a kid, Omri, who gets a cupboard for his birthday. His mom gives him a key that fits the lock. He finds out the key is magic, and brings to life whatever he puts into the cupboard (if he locks it once) or turns it back into plastic (if he locks it again)
…The books are amazing, there’s more than one.
It works for chests, too. His friend locked him in a chest and he became part of a teepee or something. I always wanted to try bringing a blow up doll to life . . . school girl please!
Really not getting the walkie Talkie thing…It could be the fact that its 330am and I’ve read like a hundred of these and commented on several (20 or so)….but I’m betting its the fact that I hated all movies referenced here and blocked them out like a childhood beating.
OMG THE INDIAN IN THE CUPBOARD!!!
I thought i was the only person EVER who knew about that @__@
i have the VHS tape with the box that looks like a cupboard has a keyhole and came with a lil plastic key that you could open it with!
it’s still downstairs :’D
…i can’t remember if i lost the key or not though…let me see really quick…
yes, yes it was right there beside my jabberwocky pop-up book and disney sing-along cassettes *sniff*
Holy crap. I always thought I was the only kid who read The Indian in the Cupboard..
I KNOW MAN! Didn’t that movie totally rock?!
Was that the one where the kids toys came to life at night ?
No. I believe they’re referring to a spinoff of ‘Willow’.

I didn’t know they made a fifth. I always thought it was only four.
Ironically, the “fifth” book was the novelization of the movie.
